Coast Dairies and Land Company (CDLC) is a separate public charity controlled by Trust for Public Land. According to the Trust for Public Land consolidated audit of March 31, 2016, "During fiscal year 2016, Coast Dairies and Land Company, Inc. was legally dissolved." CDLC transferred cash to Trust for Public Land in the amount of $1,966,163 on 3/7/2016 "to dissolve organization," according to CDLC's fiscal 2016 tax filing (IRS Form 990, Schedules I & N).
|According to the Trust for Public Land consolidated audit of March 31, 2016 (Note 14, Contract Commitments):|
"The Trust had future construction contract commitments for parks and playgrounds of approximately $6,451,000 and $3,895,000 as of March 31, 2016 and 2015, respectively. The Trust funds its park and playground work through cost reimbursement contracts and restricted operating grants."
