"...In September 2020, Pet Partners incorporated Association of Animal Assisted Intervention Professionals (AAAIP). AAAIP is a not-for-profit association whose mission is for health care providers, educators, and others to gain the knowledge needed to safely and ethically practice animal-assisted interventions while advancing the field."

According to the Pet Partners tax filing of December 31, 2022, IRS Form 990, Schedule L, Part II, Loans to and/or From Interested Persons:

The loan is reported as being from Pet Partners. The "Original Principal amount" is reported as $223,079. The "balance due" is $223,079. This loan is not in default, was approved by board or committee, and has a written agreement.

According to the Pet Partners tax filing of December 31, 2022, IRS Form 990, Schedule L, Part V, Supplemental Information:

"The 'Name of Person' is reported as 'Association of AAI Professionals.' The "Relationship with Organization" is reported as '35% Controlled Entity.' The 'Purpose of Loan' is reported as 'Start-up funds for new organization supporting Pet Partners' mission.' "
