Your Guilt as a Catalyst for Giving

   Oct 22, 2021

Scammers and unethical, high-pressure fundraisers use a lot of psychological tricks and emotional manipulation to corner you into making impulsive donating decisions. It's ok to feel guilt or other uncomfortable emotions in the face of others' adversity, but we should never allow these feelings to control us and our giving decisions. Rather, use these feelings as a reminder that giving back is important. Then, take  your time and seek out efficient and effective charities to support that will make the most of your contributions.
