September Is Hunger Action Month

   Sep 15, 2023

Food insecurity is rising in the U.S. as the end of pandemic-era aid and higher food costs burden low-income Americans, according to data recently released by the U.S. Census Bureau. Approximately 26.5 million Americans reported occasionally or often not having enough to eat in June 2023, according to the U.S. Census's latest Household Pulse Survey. This statistic represents a 12% increase from June 2022.
