According to the World Vision tax filing for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2021 (IRS Form 990, Schedule M), World Vision reports receiving contributions of in-kind goods on which it placed a value of approximately $427.2 million, including approximately $209.5 million in "Food inventory" and $176.7 million in "Clothing and household goods."

According to the World Vision consolidated audit of September 30, 2021 (Note 18, Contingencies):

"The current global pandemic, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), continues to impact certain operations of the Organization. However, COVID-19 has not had a significant impact on the financial results of the Organization."

According to the World Vision tax filing for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2021, World Vision includes in its reporting for Compensation Information re: Officers, Directors, Trustees, Key Employees, and Highest Compensated Employees, "Bonus & incentive compensation" paid to six individuals. This includes $217,709 paid to Richard Stearns, President Emeritus, whose reported total compensation in calendar year 2020 equals the $217,709 (IRS Form 990, Schedule J, Part II).

As Supplemental Information re: the "Bonus & incentive compensation" paid to Richard Stearns, World Vison reports: "Richard Stearns received payment of $217,709 for a retention payment. This was added to the employee's taxable income" (IRS Form 990, Schedule J, Part III).
